Professor Dr. Habil. Răzvan Bocu conducts a complex research activity in the scope of Computer Science and interdisciplinary fields at Transilvania University of Brașov, Faculty of Mathematics and Computer Science, România. He undergoes a rich scientific activity that is illustrated through numerous publications at high-ranking CORE Conferences, and in top tier Clarivate/WoS journals. He has won, considering strict competitive processes, the following projects: RS/2007/166 – Efficient Algorithms for the Study of Cancer through Big Networks Structures (Bioinformatics, awarded by the Government of Ireland), 25-SRNSFG-FR-286 – Internet Fragmentation in the Black Sea Region through Cyber Threats Geopolitical Drivers and Regional Resilience, and also a NATO scientific research project, which concerns the design and implementation of a Post-quantum Digital Signature using Verkle Trees (https://quantum.unitbv.ro/). He is an habilitated PhD supervisor in Computer Science.

Professor Bocu coordinates the activity of the High Performance and Cloud Computing research group (https://hpcc.unitbv.ro/).
